Around the Pambula / Merimbula Region
The Sapphire Coast region is one of the most scenic and pristine wilderness areas in Australia. Many national parks cover both the wild mountainous region and also blend seamlessly with kilometres of magnificent ocean beaches and lakes.
All kinds of wildlife live in the area and the thousands of whales that pass bi-annually are a splendid sight, not forgetting the numerous dolphins, seals and penguins.
You can find adventure in bushwalking the numerous trails, kayaking the rivers, lakes and ocean or just relaxing on magnificent beaches where often the only person on the beach is you.
From the historic Green Cape lighthouse to beautiful Bermagui, the Sapphire Coast offers an amazing range of things to see and do.
You will love the speciality shopping and the wonderful restaurants specialising in sea-food, particularly ‘straight out of the sea’ fresh oysters.
It’s the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Click here to find out more...
“ A note to let you know that we are still 'floating' after our sublime ten days at The Ultimate at Pambula Beach. The property is indeed 'the ultimate' in every way and we could not have chosen anything more perfect for a long-awaited and much-needed 'escape' from our respective desks.
From the moment we turned the key in the door, stepped into the house, gasped at the magnificent surroundings and became aware of the chorus of birdsong that greeted us, we were hooked!
We hardly moved out of charming Pambula, venturing into Merimbula only for a 'big outing'!!! Your home is quite beautiful and immaculately kept.
The ten days were long and lazy and simply divine. We would love to ensconce ourselves at The Ultimate again, and will be in touch well ahead to book another blissful break well away from school holidays and peak periods. It was divinely "quiet" when we were there — also part of the charm.
Thank you once again for allowing us to share your very special property — we felt privileged indeed to be there and it certainly worked its magic on us.”
